Supervision
My supervisor is Maria Reyna, PhD, LPC-S.

All therapists must complete a certain number of hours working under the supervision of another therapist in order to obtain their own independent license. A supervisor meets regularly with therapists, sharing their insight and experience. This benefits both the client and the therapist by sharpening the therapist's skills, practicing intervention strategies, and working through ethical questions.

Things you should know:
-
My supervisor will not join us in session. She meets with me at a separate time weekly.
-
Your confidentiality is our top priority. Your private information will not be shared.
-
Clinical supervision is not only required, it is desired. As clinicians, we improve by receiving input and guidance from others with more experience or different techniques.
-
We pay our supervisors for their service at no extra cost to you.
